                                    性状:银 白色或灰色金属。极硬。有延展性。无论在干燥或潮湿空气中均稳定。加热时能与氟、氯和氧作用,在高温时会吸收数百倍于其容积的氢,且会与氮、碳结合。有强耐腐蚀性。除氢氟酸和发烟硫酸外,对其他酸或碱溶液均不起反应。箔与粉燃烧时开始生成黑色产物,后变为褐色的五氧化二钽。渐溶于熔融碱类,不溶于水。相对密度 16.69。熔点 2996℃。沸点 5429℃。商品有粉状、片状、粒状等。
